Are you passionate about creating safe, thriving workplaces? The New Zealand International Convention Centre (NZICC) is seeking a proactive and experienced **Health & Safety Partner** to lead health and safety initiatives during the pre-opening, launch, and ongoing operations of our world-class venue.

**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

As the Health & Safety Partner, you'll play a pivotal role in embedding a strong safety culture across NZICC. You'll work closely with leaders, employees, and contractors to ensure compliance, drive continuous improvement, and support the delivery of safe and successful events.
- Develop and implement NZICC's Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)
- Lead risk assessments and emergency planning for high-risk activities and events
- Coach and mentor HS Ambassadors and build safety capability across the business
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and best practice
- Investigate incidents and lead continuous improvement initiatives

**Mōu** **| About You**
- 3-5 years' experience in frontline safety operations or safety management
- Strong background in event health and safety
- In-depth knowledge of NZ or Australian health and safety regulations
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and collaborate across diverse teams
- Tertiary qualifications in health and safety or equivalent
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
