- **About the Role**
- We’re seeking a dynamic and compassionate **Service Manager** to lead our Manawatu Intellectual Disability, Mental Health and Community Support Services. This is a pivotal leadership role where you’ll oversee a team of dedicated support workers delivering high-quality, person-centred care to vulnerable people in the Manawatu community.
- You’ll be responsible for:

- Leading and mentoring a team of Community Support Workers
- Ensuring services align with Pact’s values and meet contractual, clinical, and legislative standards
- Supporting staff development, wellbeing, and performance
- Managing service delivery, rostering, and operational planning
- Building strong relationships with whānau, community partners, and stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement and innovation in service delivery
- Upholding best practice documentation and reporting standards- Desired Skills and Experience
- **What You’ll Bring**
- To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- Proven leadership experience in health, social services, or youth support
- Strong understanding of intellectual disability, mental health, and addiction frameworks
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
- A collaborative, strengths-based approach to leadership
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health)
- Full NZ driver’s licence and sound IT skills
