As Business Operations Analyst you will assist in the identification of opportunities to leverage technology to improve business operations, partner connectivity, SAP integration and development of bespoke tools to advance organizational goals. You will need a broad understanding of the entire organization's value proposition, its operations and have the ability to demonstrate a high level of competence when implementing business processes/tools to improve overall efficiency. The position requires involvement / influence on various projects both SAP and non SAP. This calls for strong interpersonal skills where interaction with Partners (Vendors/Customers) and Internal associates are required.
Business Process Refinement
- Collaborate with the organization and partners to enhance business processes.
- Proactively identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and cost improvements.
- Develop new processes and procedures to improve operations
- Preparing reports, and making recommendations
Business Tool Development
- Develop new tools for the business and partners
- Evaluating existing tools and performing updates and modifications
- Data Analysis and modelling (ie SQL views and stored procedures)
- Testing source code and debugging code
- Documenting technical handbooks to represent the design and code of new and existing tools
SAP Support
- Support business requirements relating to (P2P) SAP Training, Incident escalation.
- Maintain a high standard of SAP knowledge and coverage in terms of IM specific programs and functionality.
- Coordinate UAT efforts to ensure zero impact during release windows.
- Exposure and engagement with Global CoE to ensure IMNZ interests are expressed and received positively.
**What you bring to the role**: Established and productive professional individual contributor. Works independently with general supervision. The ability to identify and solve complex business issues. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices. Works on moderate to complex projects. Uses company standard policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Receives moderate level of guidance. General proficiency with various tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job. A four year college degree (or additional experience in a related field) and 3 years functional experience including a minimum 1 year position specific experience.
