**Training Advisor**:
**_ Te āhua o Te Tūrunga - The nature of the position_**

This is a Northland region-based position reporting to the Regional Manager Apprenticeships Northern. You will be the Trusted Advisor for our Apprentices and customers in the engineering sector. You will build and maintain positive relationships with learners and employers whilst ensuring your engagement reflects a thorough understanding of your customers business.

You will have absolute focus on the learner, setting them up for success and providing tailored support through their apprenticeship whilst also focusing on apprenticeship replenishment and growth through identification of wider business opportunities.

**_ Ngā tino Pūkenga/Whēako - Essential skills/experiences for the role_**
- Industry related (Mechanical, Fabrication or related Engineering) qualifications and experience
- Sales Training and/or qualification/or experience
- Workplace Assessor and/or Moderator
- Experience in a customer focused role.
- Adult education certificate or Training delivery qualification and/or experience
- Strong administrative skills
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage own territory effectively and efficiently to meet the needs of the customer
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding and knowledge of health and safety legislation
- A high level of computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft office suite
- Plastic Industry experience would be advantageous
- Understanding of Education or Training industry would be beneficial
