About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our a busy multi brand workshop in Whangarei. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and managing the day-to-day operations of our automotive service center.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting customers and understanding their vehicle service needs.
  • Liaising with our mechanical team to schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance.
  • Providing customers with transparent and accurate information about recommended work and associated costs.
  • Ensuring all documentation and paperwork is completed to a high standard.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with customers and building a loyal client base.
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell additional services and parts.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and managing customer queries and complaints.
  • Assisting with inventory management and ordering of parts and supplies.

What we're looking for

  • 2-3 years' experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills to juggle multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to provide accurate and reliable information
  • Basic mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle servicing and repair requirements.
  • Proficient in using computerized workshop management systems.
  • A passion for providing outstanding customer service.
