**About the role**

The Advisor - Tauira (Student) Recruitment will plan, develop and execute quality events, projects, and campaigns within the Student Recruitment team. This permanent, full-time position is based in Whangārei and would suit someone that enjoys meeting new people, building relationships & going to all the events around town

This role will be the ‘engine room’ of student recruitment through planning, organising, and building insights for events, projects, and campaigns that showcase Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

**You will have**:

- Proven experience in event management, marketing, and administration
- A Diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Excellent promotional and marketing skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication and strong relationship management skills
- A sound understanding of brand representation
- Intermediate user knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A clean Full NZ Driver Licence
- An understanding Te Reo Māori phrases, mihi and greetings, and of Māori values, culture, and tikanga is also expected
