**The Role**

This Senior Quality Assurance Customer Lead role is a fixed term contract for around 12 months and is preferably based in Christchurch.

Reporting through to the Head of Quality Assurance, this is a key role in national Quality Assurance working with a committed, enthusiastic and professional team. The roles responsibilities include
- Supporting key internal and external customer relationships in regard to all Quality matters
- Proactive assistance across the business around Food Safety Matters and contractual obligations.
- Building partnerships and working collaboratively, as part of the customer lead group with all key stakeholders
- Providing positive, up to date knowledge of Quality Manufacturing, sales and supply chain issues.
- Provide support during incidents and escalations to key performance indicators for customer touch points.

You will also play a pivotal role in both new and existing customer audits and regularly take the opportunity to excel in all direct communication channels.

**Skills and Experience**

To be considered for this position will require
- A tertiary qualification in Food/Dairy Science or Technology or equivalent
- Strong experience in a commercial food and/or dairy manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of Asia consumers and legislation around quality and safety practises.
- Capability managing Quality Assurance in a fast paced environment with multiple priorities
- Proficiency to communicate both written and verbally up and down a business structure
- The ability to work at pace with pride and quality
