We're looking for a dedicated Traffic Management Plan (TMP) Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Development of TMPs:
Design and develop detailed Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for a wide variety of clients and construction projects from conception to completion.
Collaborate closely with clients, authorities, and internal teams to gather project information, schedules, construction methodologies, and site-specific requirements.
Ensure all TMPs are fully compliant with COPTTM (Code of Practice for Temporary Traffic Management) standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Project Management and Coordination:
Work closely with the Operations Department to ensure traffic management is implemented on-site as per the approved TMP standards.
Liaise with the TMP Manager who will assign you projects, ensuring timely design, submission, and approval of traffic management plans.
Support operations teams and managers with the interpretation and implementation of TMPs.
Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, providing regular project updates and ensuring their requirements are incorporated.
- Cost and Progress Monitoring:
Prepare timesheets, cost analyses, and invoice reports related to TMP projects.
Monitor construction progress against the traffic management plan to assess variations and prepare performance reports.
Conduct cost variation reporting and performance analysis on a daily and monthly basis.
- Compliance, Health & Safety, and Quality Control:
Conduct regular audits and inspections of implemented TMPs to ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
Identify potential risks, provide mitigation strategies, and ensure continuous improvement of traffic management practices.
Report on health and safety incidents and quality control issues as they relate to TMP activities.
- Process Improvement:
Continuously enhance TMP processes, templates, and procedures to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance across all projects.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.00 - 60.00 per week
Schedule:
- Rotating roster
- Shift work
- Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
