To support our Nursing kaupapa, we are searching for a Fixed Term Nursing Lecturer
- **Location**: Taradale
- **Team**: Nursing
- **Arrangement**: June 2025 to December 2025
- **Reporting to**: Head/ Assistant Head of School - Nursing

The Nursing Lecturer plays a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and support in the undergraduate Nursing Programme on a fixed-term, part-time basis, contributing to curriculum delivery, student learning, and professional development within a collaborative academic environment.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

- **Strong communication skills** - for effective teaching, mentoring, and collaboration.
- **Clinical nursing expertise** - current, practical experience as a Registered Nurse.
- **Curriculum and course development** - ability to design and deliver engaging content.
- **Digital literacy** - proficiency in online teaching tools and blended learning methods.
- **Cultural competence** - commitment to culturally safe and inclusive education.
- Experience (or clear knowledge of) upholding and advancing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in your mahi.
- Experience (or clear knowledge of) upholding and advancing ākonga success, wellbeing and experience.
- Experience (or clear knowledge of) supporting equity, inclusion and recognition, particularly for Māori, Pacific, and disabled ākonga and their whānau.
- An understanding of the role of vocational education and training in meeting the needs of our regional communities, employers and industries.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in kaupapa-driven environments, building strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A growth mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation, and reflective practice.
