About the role
We are looking for two Advisors to join our busy Guidance Products team to support the development of plain English guidance. You will be someone who has proven experience in plain English writing and understanding end user requirements to produce effective high-quality guidance. Stakeholder management (with both internal and external stakeholders) is a big part of this role.

**In this role, you will**:
- Assist in producing high quality and effective guidance material
- Actively seek out and monitor research and information in areas you are working on
- Consult with both internal and external stakeholder groups
- Contribute to activities to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of guidance material
**To be successful, you will bring**:
- Proven experience in plain English writing
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships both internally and externally
- Ability to quickly assimilate new information and areas of work
- Analytical and critical thinker
- Understanding of Tikanga and Te Reo Māori is desirable
- The ability to manage workflow to meet deadlines
- A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. in science, journalism, communications, law or psychology)

Salary range
As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $73,705 to $98,273 and our expected starting base salary for the right person is from $81,894 - $84,760
**Note**: KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
