About the role
We are looking for a Senior Advisor to join our high-performing and collaborative team. As a Senior Advisor, you will lead the development of high-quality guidance, working closely with technical experts and key stakeholders on complex health and safety issues.
You will be someone who has proven experience in writing clear, plain English writing. You will understand how to tailor guidance to meet different end user needs to produce effective user-centric guidance.

**In this role, you will**:

- Manage the end-to-end deliverables of Guidance and provide support to advisors working alongside you
- Develop formal guidance material across a range of areas
- Consult and communicate with internal and external stakeholder groups
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of guidance products and processes

**To be successful, you will bring**:

- Experience in the development of plain English guidance
- Experience in project management and delivery skills with the ability to lead and manage workflow to meet deadlines is desirable
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Ability to influence and lead others to adopt goals and ideas
- A tertiary qualification is required (e.g. in science, journalism, communications, law, psychology)
- An understanding of Tikanga and Te Reo Māori is desirable

Salary range
As part of our remuneration framework the full salary range for the position is from $86,144 to $114,858, and our expected starting base salary for the right person is from $90,929 to $100,501. Note: KiwiSaver/SSRSS employer contribution is additional to/on top of your base salary.
