**Mō tēnei mahi | About this job**

Support and enhance quality assurance through best practices and innovation. Provide localized solutions for quality improvement issues identified by the Tiaki Kounga team, and collaborate with Ako and other Uepu to implement, support, and monitor these solutions.

**Quality Improvement**:

- Develop systems to identify and address quality gaps.
- Conduct and support external reviews.
- Contribute to evaluation processes.
- Identify and mitigate risks in quality practices.
- Resolve tauira complaint issues.
- Manage and update the Quality Risk Register.
- Support internal reviews and facilitate quality workshops.

**Stakeholder Relationships**:

- Build and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
- Act as a liaison between the Takiwā and the national Quality team.

**Data Analysis**:

- Conduct academic performance reviews.
- Analyze data related to quality metrics and stakeholder feedback.
- Conduct reviews of attendance, teaching, and compliance results.

**Kaupapa Matua**:

- Uphold Te Kaupapa Matua o Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
- Align actions with the values and philosophy of Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.

**Kaimahi Experience**:

- Foster a productive environment for kaimahi.
- Utilize technology to streamline access to capabilities and insights.
- Support kaimahi to feel connected and empowered.

**Health and Safety**:

- Comply with health, safety, and wellness policies.
- Address and prevent unhealthy or unsafe situations.
- Report faults and process risk management forms.

**Information Management**:

- Meet statutory responsibilities for data and records management.
- Maintain records in corporate information systems.

**Mōu | About you**

We are looking for someone who has:

- Bachelor’s degree in project management, Teaching & Learning or related field
- Experience with a range of IT range of IT tools that support learning, teaching, reporting and data management
- Extensive experience gathering, analysis and documentation
- Has worked in Quality, Quality Assurance, Compliance, Risk in an educational setting.

As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) will be key.
