**Clinical Quality Advisor**

Another key component of the role is to provide leadership to our clinical teams particularly with clinical systems and processes and utilising continuous improvement methodologies to support decision making. You will also be actively involved in the coaching of Clinical Leadership teams in the use of quality improvement tools and methodologies.

**Location**: Auckland
- Geographical Area of responsibility covers all business under New Zealand Health Group

**What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga**
- Registered nurse with a current Annual Practising Certificate
- A post graduate qualification relevant to the role
- An immediate to advance skill set and knowledge in the methods of quality improvement
- A sound understanding and experience in quality improvement methodologies
- Proven policy development and strategic planning skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office required and willing to learn other computer programmes
- Proven passion for data
- Extremely meticulous in approach to work
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Ability to work with little or no supervision
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Talent for quickly learning new tasks
- Strong problem solving skills
- Good multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage own time effectively
- Confident and self-assured
- Enjoys variety and flexible approach to workload
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to team work
- Clear and responsive telephone manner
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, including advanced formulas and data manipulation
- Ability to work with already automated processes and to develop new processes as required

**Desirable**:

- Understanding of data gathering requirements to meet contractual requirements.
- Ability to extract data and develop reports for statistical analysis including trend reporting.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and visualisation methods
