We are seeking a dedicated and detail orientated** Advisor - Quality Assurance,** to join us on a **permanent full time (37.5 hours per week)** basis. This role will be primarily based at our** Albany** campus, with a requirement to travel across the various Auckland Dynaspeak campuses.
The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure academic quality is maintained across all aspects of our program through rigorous data analysis, monitoring, and reporting. The Advisor - Quality Assurance will be instrumental in upholding our program standards, policies, and Ministry funding requirements.
Some of the key responsibilities will be:
- Conducting regular audits and checks across all Dynaspeak sites to ensure adherence to policies, TWoA standards and Ministry funding requirements.
- Monitoring attendance, files, quality delivery and assessment processes to ensure compliance with program standards.
- Provide support and guidance to kaimahi to facilitate consistent moderation outcomes and ensure quality assessment standards.
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
Ensure accreditation standards are met through comprehensive program reviews and monitoring.
**About you**
You will bring with you:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant discipline.
- A tertiary teaching qualification e.g. New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 5) preferred.
- A full New Zealand driver's license.
- 5 years’ experience of direct involvement in quality assurance in the tertiary education sector.
- An understanding of the NZQA assessment, moderation, and accreditation requirements. Including but not limited to NZQA programme approval and Accreditation Rules: Consent and Moderation Requirements.
- A practical understanding of relevant TEC funding rules and regulations.
- A practical understanding of legislative requirements as relevant to the tertiary education sector. Including but not limited to the Education Act (1989), the Fair-Trading Act (1986) and their subsequent amendments.
As a kaupapa Māori organisation, your willingness to participate in cultural activities and develop an understanding of Āhuatanga Māori (values, culture and tikanga) is desirable.
