Waste Prevention Coordinator

**Mō te tūranga | About the role**
This is a 2-year fixed-term, part-time position (0.4 FTE, 16 hours per week) supporting the Waste Prevention portfolio through:
- Coordinating stakeholder hui and providing administration for in-person/online meetings and events.
- Preparing drafts for internal and external communications.
- Coordinating group submissions to consultations.
- Supporting research with stakeholders, such as contacting stakeholders with surveys.
- Other administrative tasks and minute taking as needed.

- Passion for the health and wellbeing of our environment and people
- Knowledge of waste prevention principles (waste hierarchy, zero waste)
- Knowledge of Te Tiriti principles
- Experience building relationships
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Eye for detail - high degree of accuracy when undertaking tasks

- 2+ years’ experience providing administrative support in a complex office environment
