We are seeking a proactive senior sales and business development expert with a passion for engines, an understanding of marine systems and the ability to drive sales of Caterpillar marine and industrial engines.

**Specific responsibilities include**:

- Drive growth (revenue targets and gross profit margins) in our marine and industrial engine market segments.
- Promote and sell CAT marine and Industrial engines and generators with the support of the wider Power Systems sales team to generate opportunity and sales.
- Develop long term and valued relationships with key clients, customers boat builders and boat designers and industrial OEM’s.
- Manage customer projects from start to finish - i.e., client engagement & scoping through to delivery and after sales support.
- Support our existing client base across New Zealand and develop new business opportunities.

**To be successful you will have**:

- Proven track record of sales success and business development (ideally within the marine industry)
- Strong relationship building skills with a focus on delivering results and exceeding customer expectations.
- A passion for boating and the water along with a broad understanding of marine systems (Trade or Engineering qualifications desirable)
- A demonstrated capacity to learn new product knowledge.
