**What you’ll be doing**
Working for a well-loved NZ brand, as Powershops Marketing Manager - Brand and Media, you will be responsible for successfully building long-term brand equity; responsible for supporting the development and execution of effective brand strategies that are grounded in insight.
You’ll be managing marketing campaigns, and working with cross-functional teams to drive depth of brand and ultimately business growth. You will drive the day-to-day relationship with our media and creative agency partners. You’re not afraid to challenge and will lead campaign efforts in a creative and dynamic environment. Able to manage both the art and science, you have a strong commercial edge and, in order to support our drive towards retailing excellence, you’ll ensure our media mix is in a constant state of optimisation.
This role will have one direct report (who is our Social Media star) that you’ll be helping to develop and coach while also growing your own skills working directly with our Powershop Marketing Lead. Aligned to this, you’ll understand and influence the role that Social media as well as branded partnerships play in the desired evolution of the brand.
Working across acquisition and retention initiatives, this role is key to identifying opportunities to help develop and execute our overall marketing strategy. With a real ambition for what is possible for the brand, you’ll clearly understand how to strike a balance between enhancing what the brand stands for today whilst acknowledging that to maintain relevancy we need to evolve in step with New Zealand.
You’ll also be managing media budgets, agency relationships, and developing strong stakeholder engagement.

**What you’ll bring**

- Applied brand management/leadership with proven track record of developing and successfully executing integrated campaigns
- Experience of brand development and management with demonstrated ability to drive depth of brand thought
- Applied management and evolution of full media mix with ability to optimise based on business objective/performance
- Strong project management skills and ability to simultaneously manage projects across multiple segments and time horizons
- Excellent communication skills and ability to inspire and unite cross-functional teams around brand goals
- The ability to translate customer insights into actionable outcomes
- People leadership would be an advantage but not essential if you are ready to step up in this area
