- This is a newly created, and senior management, role and requires someone with clear & relevant experience to hit the ground running Reporting to the Venue Manager & Owner, this position will be responsible for the design
- and development of all event and marketing strategies for the venue, functions and event planning along with business to business relationships for the venue, and ultimately the guest experience in a wide variety of occasions.
- This role will lead the strategic development and growth of our customer offerings, sales, events and promotions, as well as driving the development of the operations external presentation, reputation & perception.
- Once sales building strategies are in place, this role will look after the managing of events from initial enquiries, quoting, booking staff/hire, client and stakeholder liaison and production, and arranging the event execution with the operational team.
- This role will design and execute the venues marketing strategies across all platforms, including but not limited to Web, Social, Print, Radio, Digital, Staff and In house mechanics.**What are we serving up?**

A fantastic opportunity to grow your marketing and events career, our little slice of Latin America plays host to a 150 seater restaurant and elegant bar dripping in style, with one of, if not the, largest rum collections in NZ, located right on the famous New Regent Street.
- This permanent position, is looking for energetic and confident manager who can take ownership and offer support to a well-established and dedicated team. There’s established systems and processes in place, and heaps of room to stamp your own mark on the venue, our people are the most important thing to us and a positive working environment is a must.
- We’ll be serving up excellent conditions, flexibility to set your hours and working week, support from the company, including peer to peer across multiple sites, and importantly room to breathe and get on with it, there’s no micromanagement here
- Along with industry leading pay, you’ll get the perks and tools of the job needed, a weekly hospitality allowance, phone, laptop, marketing and design subscriptions and up to 5 weeks annual leave***Key Focus Areas**
- Building growth in in-bound function enquiries, and converting to bookings and events.
- Maximize awareness and attendance for all regular and special events and
promotions.
- Build B2B relationships and referral schemes that deliver new clientele and sales to the business.
- Liaise, support and effectively communicate with all members of the operations team including management, floor staff and kitchen on the function/event.
- Build and enhance our external perception through effective marketing strategies with clear and well thought out objectives.
- Create marketing content, images, video and editorial, utilize to bring the brand voice and persona to life in engaging and professional execution.
- Build external relationships and networks that can be used to enhance the business and secure repeat custom.
Create and execute bespoke and contrived events that are well attended and meet set goals.
- Be able to self-report on progress and demonstrate tangible results.
Take ownership of the venues loyalty and membership scheme and unlock its potential.
- Ensuring all relevant marketing material and content is up-to-date, relevant and engaging.
- Identify and incorporate other key areas of responsibility that will deliver positive change to the business.

**Some important stuff;**
- This is a full time, permanent role, with a minimum of 30 hours per week.
- Relevant Tertiary education a significant advantage.
- 3 years' relevant experience working in marketing, events and/or hospitality management is required.
- Working knowledge of digital systems or the aptitude to learn, MS Office, Google management platforms, Adobe Software, Social
