**The Role**

The marketing automation manager is responsible for designing and building integrated marketing solutions that drives growth for Seequent. You need to think strategically, understanding the goals of marketers and the business, while being able to dig into the technical elements to achieve this (exp. building out a chat bot conversation, designing and building a lead nurture program, integrating an event management platform into our MAP). You will work closely with immediate team members to drive world-class growth marketing and more broadly across the marketing teams, experience design, web strategy and wider Seequent teams.

It’s the ownership of marketing automation platforms to drive customer acquisition, solution adoption and customer retention. With a strong understanding of marketing technology and best practices, you'll help turn business requirements into reality, so all teams have the technology and insights they need to continuously improve customer acquisition and customer experience.

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to help design integrated multi-platform engagement strategies, capable of unlocking growth within our target segments, regions and across our product lines
- Own the integration between Marketo and Salesforce CRM (campaign, contact, lead and opportunity object), and evolve our integration of the two to ensure data and combined workflows are functioning between each platform so we orchestrate marketing activity to our contact database
- Deliver a training program for marketing colleagues on how to best leverage our growth technology: from features and capabilities they should consider in their campaign design, to how to analyze programs, and accomplish their goals within marketing automation tools
- Manage monthly and quarterly reports and dashboards that measure all aspects of data quality, campaign performance, program effectiveness, pipeline performance and marketing ROI in partnership with your growth team colleagues

**In order to be successful in this role, you should have**:

- 5+ years in a marketing automation role, with previous experience designing and deploying digital campaigns.
- Demonstrated experience and competency using enterprise Marketing Automation platform, Marketo
- Experience or knowledge of other platforms in our stack (Salesforce CRM, Intercom, Outreach, Sprout Social, Go-to-Webinar, Segment)
- Ability to understand our products, markets, customers, and competitors and what drives their behaviours
- Experience collaborating with other team members and be able to provide support, coaching and training.
- Collaborative self-starter who is very hands-on, goal-orientated with strong communication skills and a high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, be highly effective at developing strong credibility and working relationships with the ability to receive feedback from diverse sources and to grow personally and professionally from it.
