Mō te Kapa | About the Team The Enterprise Portfolio Management Office for Oranga Tamariki is a critical enabler for delivering better outcomes for tamariki in our care. They are about Practice Leadership, Portfolio Governance and Change Visibility across its activities, by investing in functions that deliver improved project, governance, and capability outcomes. Four teams make up the EPMO: Project Capability Practice; Enterprise Change; Portfolio Governance and Programme Management. Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu | What you will bring You will be an experienced leader in your specialist function in another public sector organisation who has led on one or more change initiatives or process changes that have an impact on a group or team within the organisation. Some key requirements of the role include but are not limited to: - Sound experience as a member of a management team in two or more public sector organisations, driving culture and change across a group or function. - Knowledge of portfolio, programme and project management tools and methodologies. - Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to, and has actively worked to shift and change the way in which people, teams and organisations works over time - Experience and understanding of machinery of government and experience of working in a public sector environment balancing diverse demands and issues. - Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality and effective communications to a range of stakeholders. - Understanding and appreciation of cross-cultural practices in particular; knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific peoples' culture Nōu te rourou | What's in it for you Me pēhea te tuku tono | How to Apply If you are interested in any of our vacancies, please ensure that you make yourself familiar with our code of conduct as it sets out our expectations for our kaimahi and requires you to present at work free from the influences of both drugs and alcohol."
