Are you enthusiastic about Property and Facilities Management, and an experienced practitioner with exceptional people and relationship-building skills? Are you someone with strong financial, process improvement and systemisation skills? Are you comfortable working in a complex and sometimes reactive environment where your ability to think on your feet and act will be vital? We are looking for a talented individual to join our team at Te Tari Taiwhenua Department of Internal Affairs.

With your background and expertise in Property and Facilities you will help us manage a diverse and unique mix of leased and owned properties and build great working relationships.

To be successful in this role, you will need a proven, successful history with a portfolio of property and facilities, preferably within Central Government. You will possess excellent communication and relationship building abilities in addition to strong financial and commercial skills. You will bring experience of process improvement and systemisation to the role and the proven ability to work in a complex and sometimes reactive environment.

We are seeking a Property Portfolio Manager to deliver property services to specific branches across Te Tari Taiwhenua. This is a wonderful opportunity to really make your mark.

We’d love to hear from you if you have proven experience in the following areas:

- Management of a portfolio of specialised and high-profile buildings
- Operating as part of a high performing Property team
- Management of internal stakeholders and business owners
- Strategy setting, managing risks and benefits and prioritising activity
- Strong financial, process improvement and systemisation skills
- Proven ability of working in complex and sometimes reactive environmentsRelevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience is desirable
