**About the role**

This newly established role supports the Vice-Chancellor and Senior Leaders as they advance the work of the University through pan-University programmes and projects. The Head of the TMO will develop and manage a framework for strategic portfolio management at the University that is aligned with the University's strategy and planning framework. Key to success in the role is to connect complex work streams horizontally as well as vertically. The role will also ensure that the establishment and management of the portfolio is delivered in a way that is responsive to AUT's Tiriti Framework.

**Skills and Experience**

You will have broad and extensive portfolio management experience working with large complex organisations. Your skills will include:

- Confidence in working with Executive and Senior Leaders in large complex organisations
- Business change and change management experience
- Strong diplomatic skills
- Sound problem solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues
- The ability to provide accurate and up to date portfolio analysis, dashboards and reports to enable the Vice-Chancellor and senior leaders to make informed investment decisions
