**The role**:
As Marketing & Events Wrangler, you will work closely alongside the Energy Academy team where you will support the Energy Academy’s Kaupapa through communication and community building activities, primarily within the community development stream of work. If you are a storyteller who is passionate about how we engage with communities through communication and want to work in an exciting role with a dynamic team, this is the role for you.

**A little more about the role**:

- Support the Energy Academy in campaign and marketing events
- Assist with venue management and coordination including merchandising, ticketing and catering
- Create engaging content for our online community including social media, podcasts and newsletters
- Engage and communicate with event staff ensuring events run smoothly

This role is all about you, the Energy Academy is passionate about what we do and the message we want to deliver. We are looking for someone who is creative, adaptable and loves to get to get stuck in and get stuff done.
- Relevant qualification in communications and/or marketing or equivalent knowledge gained from experience
- Artistic flair when using design software and brands, predominately Canva
- Excellent eye for brand awareness and engaging content and communications
- Willingness to try new and different ways of doing things
- A positive attitude, energy and a sense of humour
