It is a broad role and a key one here at Z; responsibility for creating strategy, working with our agency partners and managing the day-to-day operations of our channels is all yours. Naturally connecting with people and a passion for keeping your knowledge up to date will see you work across the Z business, identifying and delivering awesome social media moments
**This role can be located in either Wellington or Auckland.**
**You will have the opportunity to**
- Develop Z’s social media strategy and benchmark performance against industry standards
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our social media channels
- Design and develop meaningful and engaging content
- Identify and deliver on opportunities across the business
- Work with external partners to deliver media and report on performance
- Act as the social media expert within Z, sharing knowledge and bringing others on the journey

**Qualifications**

**What you’ll bring to Z**
- You would have spent the last 3-5 years working in a social media focused role either inhouse or with an agency
- You will be used to responsibility, working as a sole operator and are comfortable with decision making.
- A creative eye, you know the content that will work, when to release it and how to draw in an audience
- The drive and passion needed to keep yourself, and Z at the top of the game
- Fantastic communication skills to be able to balance the needs and priorities of multiple stakeholders
- Knowledge of a commercial environment and acumen
- A bias for action and the ability to execute at pace in an agile environment

The base salary range for this role is $95,455 to $110,000 per annum, plus 15% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross
