Service: Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Unit, Integrated Operations Centre

Contract: Full-time, 6 months Fixed Term

**Salary**: $85,960 (pro-rated)

**Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the role**

The Recruitment Advisor is responsible for managing RMO attraction and selection processes to ensure sufficient RMOs are sourced to meet the service and training needs of Capital Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa Districts.

**Mō tō mātou rōpū - About our team**

The RMO unit is a dynamic fast paced unit with no two days the same. We facilitate linkages between and provide support for all those involved in RMO management functions across the District. Our focus is to provide a strategic overview of the RMO workforce, while also ensuring the consistency of management practices and the provision of employment agreement compliance.

You will work alongside colleagues based in the Wellington RMO unit and with medical services ranging from Anaesthetics to Surgical services and everything in between. We are a team who enjoy diversity, food and are supportive towards each other.

**Moū - About you**

You will provide the expertise, support and service to ensure recruitment processes operate efficiently and effectively and will have:

- Recruitment experience ideally of medical staff, managing complex recruitment projects and programmes of work
- Experience working in a changing and complex environment
- Confidence to challenge existing processes and offer alternatives
- A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills who can maintain a high standard of professionalism
- Knowledge of employment legislation and the current RMO collective agreements

A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or previous experience in a Recruitment or HR Administration role is advantageous but not required. Familiarity with the role of the RMO, Medical Council and Immigration policies/processes would also be advantageous.
