**Job Summary**

Auckland Natural Resources team is involved in a number of transformational projects that will significantly shape Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland) and other locations around NZ, including the communities that many of us live in.

Some of your key responsibilities include;Supports in producing formal ecological reports, proposals, tender documents, and correspondence using high quality writing skillsCarrying out ecological impact assessments (in accordance with EIANZ, 2018)Supports in the planning and implementation of field surveys-
Ability to travel to and undertake fieldwork with mínimal support, potentially for extended periods of timeCarry out ecological and environmental impact assessmentsProvide high-level scientific report writing, incorporating relevant policy and legislation requirements, ecological impact assessment, monitoring and issuing recommendationsKeeping abreast of new policies and legislation relating to biodiversityAbility to manage projects (or components of) and budgets to meet time and resource requirementsDevelop and maintain positive relationship with clients to enhance client retention and growthIdentify further opportunities with clients and cross-sell AECOM services where appropriate

**Minimum Requirements**Appropriate tertiary qualification (Environmental Science, Ecology, or similar)2-6 years of relevant professional experienceIdeally previous ecological consulting experienceDemonstrated experience in ecological survey workEnjoys working in a fun and diverse team environmentIs openminded and innovative in their approach to work

**Preferred Qualifications**Appropriate tertiary qualification (Environmental Science, Ecology, or similar)EIANZ Certified Environmental Practitione
