About the Role

**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
Be responsible for managing the governance of Business' BG&C risk forums, managing Risk Management (and related Conditions of Registration) Attestations, including Business' compliance policies and frameworks.
Working collaboratively with the other Senior Managers in the team and Head of Business Governance & Controls, you will be responsible for instilling an innovative approach to operational risk and compliance management whilst balancing risk with a commercial appreciation for the growth objectives and business strategies of Business
Conduct insights analysis on Business customer complaints and operational risk events with reporting to the Business BG&C risk forums
Engage with staff in Business and other stakeholders to ensure there is appropriate awareness and oversight of ANZ policy and compliance activities
Help to lead a strong risk and conduct culture across ANZ

**Role Location**: Auckland (preferred)

**Role Type**: Fixed term opportunity - 15 months

About You

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Relevant operational risk management, compliance or governance experience
Proven ability to build strong, open and collaborative working relationships
Proven ability to use initiative. Be proactive by taking action and be persistent and resilient in addressing issues
Able to manage priorities and conflicting issues in a professional manner
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Able to liaise with internal customer stakeholders
