**Position Summary**

The Nestlé Cambria Park factory in Wiri are looking for an enthusiastic Shift Team Leader to join their production team on Afternoon Shift. This role will support the shift through competence build across Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) and TPM skills and provide an escalation point for decision making & prioritisation.

**A day in the life**

Reporting to the Production Manager, key responsibilities of the role include:

- Manages the People development plan and assure the competencies of his/her team as per the agreed plan with Production Manager (proper training inc. equipment, safety procedures, food safety & hygiene procedures, NCE/TPM).
- Ensure strict compliance to standards (SOPs, WI, BOP, CL, CIL, Safety Maps, Safe Modes of Access, 03 Inspections, etc) by all personnel within the shift.
- Lead and Coach direct reports to fulfil and exceed the requirements of the job through NCE/TPM approach.
- Manage work group TPM activity plan with work group leads as per agreed strategy with Production Manager.
- Ensure that the working areas are kept clean and are maintained in working order.
- Check and implement personnel hygiene & safety e.g. protective clothing (uniform), shoe change & hand wash.
- Ensure continuous line Controls and immediate corrective action to assure prescribed quality and to ensure compliance with manufacturing instructions
- Day to Day Labour & PSA Inventory Management (Including PO management).

**What will make you successful**
- Joining a collaborative team, you will be a strong leader with a drive to deliver quality outcomes.
- Matured knowledge in food manufacturing or degree/Diploma in Food sciences or engineering
- Relevant work experience either during or after studies.
- Good attitude to work and ability to interact with people.
- Demonstration of leadership ability by leading a project or work group within a factory environment.
- Demonstration of Leadership skills in positively confronting inappropriate behaviour and using everyday coaching to ensure involvement of the workforce.
