**ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Digital Development, Design & Maintenance
- Ensure security is embedded into team culture throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Maintain and Develop Analytics and Advertising Technology Stacks
- Actively investigate, assess and implement alternative technology options for existing solutions (or opportunities) that will improve efficiency and performance within the business.
- Provide actionable recommendations for addressing new threats and opportunities arising in the marketplace.
- Develop New digital Ad Products
- Support the Digital Ad Traffic Manager to develop new ad products and packages.
- Ensure appropriate reporting (clicks, interactions, imps etc) is implemented for new ad products.
- Balance the advertiser impact of new ad units with user experience.
- Team Leadership and Development.
- Provide exceptional leadership, to inspire and align the team to deliver to agreed targets.
- Break through corporate silos to foster collaboration across the business.
- Coach and manage others to ensure performance expectations are met.
- Manage resourcing of your team to meet overall business objectives i.e. recruitment, succession planning.
- Data Governance, Security and Privacy Compliance
- Keep updated on developments in software best practices and ensure that security is embedded into team culture throughout the software development lifecycle
- Ensure that all activities are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation, rules and standards, including relevant Acts, regulations, and industry body requirements. Understand the principles of NZ privacy legislation.
- Ensure appropriate NZME stakeholders such as the Enterprise Architect and Information Security Manager are looped in as required before adoption of any new technologies or processes.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- A relevant Engineering, Information Technology or Computer Science degree is an advantage
- 4+ years web software development
- 3+ years HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
- 3+ years experience with database technologies such as MSSQL etc.
- 3+ years SVCS (Git)
- Experience with Cloud-based technologies (App Services, Storage, Functions, Virtual Machines, Application Monitoring)
- Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven team leadership and mentorship abilities
- Innovation and strategic agility
- Managing Change/ Continuous Improvement / Innovation
- Commercial business acumen and a customer-centric mindset
- Drive for Success / Accountability / Drive for Results
- Strong influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Problem solving and decision making
