**Mō te Tūranga | About the Role**

In this dynamic role, you'll play a key part in the pre-opening, grand opening, and ongoing operations of the NZICC. You'll lead with positivity and purpose, helping to shape a culture of excellence across all touchpoints; from front-of-house hospitality to back-of-house logistics and retail experiences.
- Overseeing day-to-day operations across FOH, BOH, retail, and event services.
- Manages casual staff shifts to minimise labour costs without impacting on customer service.
- Contributing to the design and delivery of operational systems and processes.
- Managing services including:

- ** Front of House**: Bars, food delivery, conference services, exhibition catering, and event tech.
- ** Back of House**: Room setups, operable walls, carpet tiles, loading dock coordination, inventory, and health & safety.
- ** Retail Services**: Café, concession stands, pop-up outlets, and public/ticketed event management.
- Supporting a seamless and world-class experience for all guests, clients, and partners.

**Mōu** **| About You**
- Minimum 5 years' experience at a management level within a high-volume conventions or events environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge in all aspects of large venue management
- Legislative knowledge around: employment relations, health & safety, food safety, alcohol service, liquor licencing etc.
- Solid food and beverage background and understanding including cost and profit calculations.
- Experience within a warehouse or receiving environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of event and conference set up
