**About the role | He korero whakamarama mo tenei turanga**
Our Community & Rehabilitation business is in growth mode and this position presents an opportunity to get involved from the outset and help implement change. Reporting to a Regional Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the growth and delivery of home and community-based services for our complex clients across multiple portfolios and national coverage You will maintain positive relationships in local communities, ensuring our services are integrated with wider health and social sector services to meet the unique needs of people and their family/whanau. Responsibilities include:
- Grow our market share through gaining new packages of care ranging from ACC Nursing, Casemix, standard and extended support clients
- Implement new community and rehabilitation services for those we support, and actively seek opportunities to provide services in-house where it makes sense for the business
- Lead the delivery of community and rehabilitation services, ensuring quality is embedded into everything we do
- Ensure the balanced management of funding contracts
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local funders (DHB's and ACC, amongst others), Iwi, primary care practices, community representatives and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, to ensure quality client-centric services are delivered within your area, and the appropriate workforce recruited to meet customer requirements and funder obligations
- Continually look for opportunities to add value to the products and services we deliver to our customers as the Groups strategic goals
**What you will bring | Nga tohungatanga mo tenei turanga**
Your passion for delivering the best possible outcomes for customers and stakeholders will see you succeed in this role. Ideally you will have proven experience in leading the delivery of clinical services/products, however service delivery or relationship management experience in another sector will be considered. Excellent commercial skills, sound judgement and a resilient attitude are key.
- Experience in a service delivery or relationship role, preferably within the health/disability or community services sectors
- Experience in leading the delivery of clinical services and products
- A passion and expertise for working collaboratively and developing skills in others
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, and highly developed emotional intelligence
- A love of problem solving combined with resilience to cope with the unexpected or difficult
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with project management experience
- Sound judgement and a high level of integrity
- Understanding of, and commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Effective negotiating skills to reach desired outcomes
