Wellington City, New Zealand New Zealand Government Full time

The secret to our success is our people. While we are ordinary people, we are not all the same. We welcome diversity, in all its forms, in fact we consider it a strength. Join us and work at the heart of national security to protect New Zealand and New Zealanders.

At the Government Communications Security Bureau (GCSB) our mission is to protect and enhance New Zealand's security and wellbeing. The Intelligence Directorate plans and conducts GCSB intelligence activities in accordance with agreed Government policy and requirements, coordinates Signals Intelligence assets to meet national requirements, and provides support to a range of agencies.

As a Programme Coordinator in the Intelligence Directorate, your contribution will directly impact the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they align with government policies and requirements. You will be instrumental in coordinating and managing various aspects of our programs, ensuring seamless integration and effective collaboration among team members.

You will support the Intelligence Director Business Unit capabilities. We are always looking for new perspectives, fresh ideas and innovative ways of doing things.

What can we offer you?
- The opportunity to work with diverse, talented, and committed people in an inclusive community.
- Ongoing professional development
- Career pathways within the community
- Benefits include access to an on-site gym, subsidised vision care, free Southern Cross Healthcare and EAP support.

Who are we looking for?
This is an exciting opportunity for someone in an administrative space looking to step up, or someone with experience in project/business coordination, where you can hone your skills in a challenging and rewarding environment. You will be highly organised, a skilled problem solver and have an understanding of financial/project management and business reporting.

**Ideally you will also have**:

- Experience in a confidential and secure environment, preferably in the public sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and project management software.
- Effective communication, time management, and organisational skills.
- PRINCE2 or PMP certification or equivalent work experience.
