**About the Role**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leadership and Management: Motivate and guide the urgent care nursing team, setting the standard for professional behaviour and excellent work habits.
- Quality and Risk: Demonstrate commitment to quality improvements and risk management, reviewing and developing clinical standards, protocols, and policies.
- Training and Education: Collaborate with the Nurse Leader to develop and monitor outcomes of educational programs, ensuring continuous professional development for nursing staff.
- Promote Excellence: Foster a culture of learning that meets legal, ethical, and professional standards while enhancing patient safety and quality of life.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance care quality and facilitate improvement initiatives.
- Support Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures while promoting a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Quality and risk management: Working alongside the expectations of the clinic's urgent care contracts and requirements.

**About Your Profile**:

- Holds a current New Zealand Registered Nurse (NZNC) practising certificate.
- Minimum of 5 years' post-registration experience, with previous leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality improvement processes and principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, adept at working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to health equity and cultural competency, including understanding Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Strong organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with ACC and PHC funding models and experience with MedTech Evolution is desirable.
- Legally entitled to work in New Zealand.
