**What you will be doing**

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, and committed, registered nurse with leadership experience, to be part of the Pegasus Health 24 Hour Surgery team. The Acute Nursing Team Leader provides a high standard of professional leadership & nursing practise; as well as delivering professional nursing practice, including skilled urgent and emergency care. The role works closely within the nursing leadership team to provide clinical expertise for continuous improvement, and nursing professional development activities.

This role includes the provision of leadership and support to the acute care nursing team, who deliver a nursing service to patients presenting at the 24 HS with a wide spectrum of conditions and; and the team who deliver an orthopaedic service, and providing acute treatment to patients for conditions including fractures, sprains, trauma and sports injuries.

**What you will bring**

A minimum of 5 years post registration experience spanning a broad range of acute clinical nursing practice, including orthopaedics and will have completed, or be currently undertaking, post graduate study. You will demonstrate excellence in clinical leadership; highly developed interpersonal and communication skills; and the ability to quickly establish positive relationships with a wide variety of people. You will be enthusiastic and passionate about improving healthcare, and understand that leadership and teambuilding skills, as well as the ability to motivate and inspire others. Work well under pressure whilst offering exceptional patient care at all times with be second nature to you.
