In this exciting new role as Digital Engineering Team Leader - Energy & Industrial, you will be responsible for providing people and technical leadership for mechanical and piping designs, from concept through to detailed design stages, for projects based within NZ, Australia and many other locations around the world

**What will a day in this role look like**:
+ Collaborating closely with engineers to manage and deliver workflows for mechanical and piping designs using technologies such as common data environments (BIM360 & Projectwise), point clouds.

+ Carrying out estimating for model and design production

+ Managing and planning resourcing for on-time design and delivery of onshore and offshore projects

+ Leading and motivating a team of designers; offering technical guidance, support and pastoral care to the team

+ Working with other regions and offices to share and grow knowledge of digital engineering.

**Qualifications**:
+ Demonstrated experience in successfully leading and motivating small to medium sized teams.

+ Proven mechanical technical design knowledge with a strong understanding of construction and engineering models, drawings and detailed drawings within the energy and industrial sector.

+ Experience in managing drawing deliverables, revisions, quality assurance systems and processes.

+ Advanced knowledge of Plant 3D, BIM360, PointCloud and Navisworks

+ Model verification and practical experience would be beneficial.
