**Are you a digital transformation champion ready to lead the future of engineering?**:
We are looking for an exceptional **Digital Lead** to champion digital delivery across the entire Vitruvius business. This is a strategic role that’s split 50/50 between streamlining our internal systems and leading multi-disciplinary project teams to deliver outstanding client outcomes. You’ll be the driving force behind our digital evolution, implementing cutting-edge solutions while supporting the development of modellers and designers.

You will be an integral part of driving Vitruvius forward, responsible for implementing and standardising digital solutions that deliver improvements in quality and efficiency across our entire project lifecycle. You will chair our Digital Management Group (DMG) as required, including leading the digital tools strategy, selection, implementation and maintenance of new software tools, ensuring they meet the company’s needs and future-proof our delivery.

The right person will develop the role and eventually, build a lead their own team, including oversight of quality delivery, workload, pipeline, and productivity.

**What You Will Bring to Vitruvius**:
**Essential Experience**:

- **8+ years in CAD design experience**in infrastructure, land development, and /or water resources
- **10+ years** working on projects of varying scale and complexity
- **Leadership in information** management and BIM standards development and implementation
- **Good working knowledge** of New Zealand design codes and practices
- Experience managing projects using** ISO19650 best practice**

**Bonus Points For**:

- Experience with **AI Tools and Implementation**:

- Experience in **Python scripting and other coding languages**:

- Experience working on, developing, and maintaining** 12D Synergy**:

- **Computation Certificate e.g., Dynamo, Python, JavaScript**:

- **Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical experience**

**As our Digital expert, you’ll**:

- Champion digital delivery across all Vitruvius operations and projects
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation across the portfolio of Vitruvius projects
- Work closely with the Vitruvius AI Working Group to design and deploy prompt-based tools (e.g., for model review, QA validation, or metadata tagging etc.)
- Implement and standardise digital solutions throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee graphical and non-graphical information production planning and delivery, ensuring that projects are set up for success
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex digital engineering initiatives
- Provide guidance and support to CAD technicians, modellers, and designers in technical delivery to ensure quality and efficient delivery.
- Oversee quality delivery, workload management, and team productivity
- Track digital delivery KPIs and use automation/analytics to improve decision making and productivity
- Lead the delivery of our GIS based environment - enhancing the way we utilise spatial information in project delivery
