**About the role**
The Advisor, Partnerships provides support to Regional Portfolio leads and Senior Advisors across the commissioning lifecycle, while enhancing collaboration and relationship building efforts within the Ministry and externally with stakeholders, communities, and agencies.
- Full time fixed-term or Secondment position until **November 2026** (Parental Leave cover)
- Porirua Office based

Must hold a full driver license, with the ability to travel across the central region as required

**What you'll bring**
- **Strong relationship management skills with Pacific communities**, with the ability to build and maintain partnerships with providers and community leaders across the central region. Travel may be required at times depending on portfolio responsibilities
- **Event Management & Engagement Support**: for delivering logistics and follow-up for Talanoa, hui and engagements. You'll be taking notes and capturing insights quickly and be converting raw data from community feedback into themes that influence commissioning discussions and decision making.
- **Contract monitoring** - Working in closely with Portfolio leads to meet deadlines, capture impact stories and identifying risks.
- **Project coordination** - We're looking for evidence of supporting fast-moving projects (campaigns, engagement programmes, or regional delivery), and the ability to respond and prioritise effectively
- **Proven professional writing skills** - You'll prepare memos and reports for senior leaders and providers, making sure information is clear, accurate, and well presented
- **Resilience**, ability to juggle and prioritise, and the ability to remain calm under pressure. You'll be comfortable working at pace with multiple changing priorities.
