**People & Culture Coordinator**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Coordinate the onboarding processes, including induction schedules/documentation, relevant reminders, and further coordination as required.
- Maintain and update employee records and databases in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in the administration of payroll, benefits, and performance management programs.
- Respond to employee inquiries and requests regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other Business Performance team members and the broader Morphum team to implement HR initiatives and projects.
- Manage CV and Continuing Professional Development processes.
- Coordinate Performance Development and Management (Flourishing) process and records management.
- Coordinate Learning and Development events, seminars, workshops, and courses.
- Maintain employee information and coordinate employee leave.
- Manage administrative systems and aid company directors with administrative tasks as required.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Morphum’s policies and procedures in line with best practice and current legislation.
- Ensure employment agreements are up to date and comply with legislative requirements, drafting variations as required.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with employment law, regulations, company policies, HSEQMS systems, and supporting audits as necessary.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Previous experience in HR coordination
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Knowledge of employment law and regulations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
**About You**
- A Bachelor's degree in environmental science or ecology (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in New Zealand's freshwater ecology
- Minimum of 3 years in a consulting or advisory role
- Bonus points for experience in coastal ecology and/or coastal and fluvial geomorphology
- Exceptional communication and report-writing skills, with an eye for identifying commercial opportunities
- GIS and data management skills are a plus, though not mandatory
- A genuine passion for sustainability, the environment, and a keen interest in freshwater, terrestrial, coastal ecology, or marine science
- Willingness to get hands-on and explore the beauty of our natural streams and wildlife
