We are Tu Ora Compass Health; we are committed to improving health outcomes for Maori and our communities through effective Primary Health & Community care. Tu Ora is the largest primary health organisation (PHO) in the Wellington region, incorporating Wellington City, Porirua/Kapiti and the Wairarapa. Through innovation, quality services, strong inter-service working relationships and a person-centred approach we believe in providing care closest to a person's home.
- We seek a worker who can Support and?work in partnership with Tu Ora GP practices and the community to achieve health targets
- Ensure whanau have access to health information and education, in a culturally appropriate manner
- Empower and support whanau to manage their hauora and Mauriora (Cultural identity)
- Improve the health and well-being of whanau, to live well in environments that support and sustain a healthy lifestyle
- Connect whanau with appropriate health resources and organisations to ensure they are able to participate in society
- Ensure that Tu Ora events are well designed, planned and a collaboration of all Tu Ora teams, with particular focus on the Maori, Pacific, and clinical quality teams.

**You will have**:

- 2 years' experience in event coordinator or a similar role
- Experience in the Health Sector
- Well organised with attention to detail and following through.
- Proven communication skills both written and oral for a variety of audiences.
