**_About the role_**
Are you an experienced team leader/manager who is keen to manage a team of exceptional administrators and form professional relationships with a wide range of staff playing a part in the education of New Zealand’s future health professionals?
The Division of Shared Services is made up of a team of highly skilled professional staff responsible for delivering an unparalleled student and staff experience; this is achieved through the delivery of high quality and effective administration support to all of the university’s internal and external customers.
A typical day as a Lead Administrator will see you coordinating administrative support to one or more academic work areas while leading a team of Client Services Administrators. In this position, you will help to guide and develop a supportive work culture focused on providing an excellent customer experience.
You will be working in a team as part of the wider Shared Services Division. Your relationship building skills will be important, ensuring that you become the trusted point of contact for a range of staff and visitors.
Accountabilities include:
- Supervising and managing day-to-day activities of your team including prioritising and allocating workflow.
- Undertaking operational activities and/or projects in a timely and customer-focussed manner.
- Providing a range of support activities, including meeting administration; coordinating and organising internal review processes; gathering information and drafting documents.
- Ensuring accurate, timely and efficient administration activities.
**_Your skills and experience_**
- Proven experience in a busy and/or complex administration environment.
- A passion for delivering an exceptional service to customers.
- Previous supervisory experience or exposure to managing teams.
- An ongoing commitment to positive outcomes for our students, staff and visitors.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
