What your role and typical day might look like.

In this role your play an active role in supporting, executing, and monitoring media campaigns, focusing primarily on traditional/offline media for your client patch. This involves you to be connected to every part of the strategy and media plans, work as a part of the team, communicate effectively with suppliers and clients alike. Where possible, contributing to make recommendations to meet campaign objectives and a return on investment for our client and dentsu.

Reporting to the Business Manager, this Executive role working closely across various teams and departments internally and externally to ensure cohesive, timely campaign management, and objectives are tracking to where they need to be.

This includes.
- Briefing media partners and evaluate proposals in line with the team’s planning process, developing and maintaining media schedules across client portfolio.
- Briefing media suppliers and partner agencies to collate responses and ensure the timely delivery of material.
- Prepare the supplier briefings and drive implementation of traditional media, and where possible, bring new and innovative solutions to the table.
- Assist with project managing campaigns to ensure timely and successful outcomes, whilst managing risks and issues.
- Assist in the preparation of various reports including post campaign analysis, competitive and planning documents, and financial reporting. This included championing global tools to assist with global reporting requirements.
- To ensure correct client billing by addressing any account queries and checking proformas.
- Assisting the team with running audience/channel numbers and preparing recommendation documents.
- Continuously building on your understanding of the New Zealand media marketplace and industries in within the client portfolio.

A bit about you to be successful in the role
- At least 12 months of experience in similar role such as Media Assistant, Coordinator, Executive or Media planner/buyer role in an advertising/agency industry.
- Shows initiative to think ahead and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive communication skills and highly collaborative as you will be a part of a team.
- High attention to detail, analysis skills and comfort with numbers. There is media maths and numbers involved to go with the nuances of media terminology to be across.
- Comfortable across the Microsoft suite of productivity tools -Excel, Word and PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Experience with planning and research tools such as Arianna, Roy Morgan, AQX and CMI will be highly beneficial.
- Previous use of billing systems such as Pegasus will be highly beneficial.
