Are you an enthusiastic and dynamic Dietitian with extensive clinical skills and experience, looking to develop your leadership skills? An opportunity has arisen to join our forward thinking and dynamic community Dietetics team, part of Adult Community and Long-Term Conditions Directorate, working across Te Toka Tumai, Auckland, providing clinical leadership and delivery in the area of adult community nutritional support.
This role will support the community Dietetic team across two sites with caseload management and prioritisation with a view to providing an excellent quality of care to patients in receipt of nutritional support referred across the service.
The Practice Supervisor role carries a clinical caseload and oversees the day-to-day clinical work of the community Dietetic team. They are involved in planning, undertaking and evaluating training, and support student training. They will also lead, innovate and drive forward policies, procedures and nutritional care pathways in the area of community nutritional support. This role will work across Greenlane Clinical Centre and Pt Chev Clinical Centre.
Our Dietitians work in locality teams and are committed to the holistic delivery of health services within the Te Toka Tumai community. We offer dietetic advice and support to clients with a range of medical conditions including home enteral nutrition, malnutrition, dysphagia, oncology, wound healing, obesity with co-morbidities and irritable bowel syndrome. Services are provided in both the home and clinic settings.

**We are looking for an individual who**:

- Is a NZ Registered Dietitian with a current APC and drivers licence
- Has a minimum of 7 years' clinical experience in dietetics, preferably in community practice
- Is looking for an opportunity to develop or expand their leadership skills
- Have an understanding of current issues related to the delivery of community-based care
- Have experience in working in a multidisciplinary team
- Have experience in the provision of professional supervision
- Has effective clinical reasoning skills and values evidence-based practice
