We're looking for a motivated and community-minded leader to guide and support our Banks Peninsula campgrounds. This is a unique opportunity to lead a passionate team and deliver exceptional experiences across Okains Bay, Duvauchelle, and Pigeon Bay.

**About the role | Ko te mahi nei**

As the Camp Ground Team Leader, you'll oversee daily operations, support staff, and ensure our campgrounds are safe, welcoming, and well-maintained. You'll also play a key role in building strong relationships with mana whenua, local communities, and contractors.

You will also be:

- Leading and empowering campground staff to deliver high-quality services.
- Providing hands-on support across front-of-house, cleaning, and caretaking duties.
- Coordinating maintenance and enhancement projects.
- Engaging with mana whenua and local communities to foster strong partnerships.
- Supporting the Manager Activities and Events (Outdoors) in achieving operational and financial goals.

**About you | Ko Koe Tēnei**

To thrive in this role, you'll bring:

- A friendly personality, positive can do attitude and problem solving ability
- At least 5 years' experience in operational leadership or supervisory roles.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- A commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and community engagement.
- Excellent time management, communication, and digital literacy (Microsoft Office).

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, with weekend work as required (particularly for holiday cover of camp managers). Exact working hours are flexible and may vary with the seasons.
- Position: Full-time, permanent.
- Location: This position is primarily based in Banks Peninsula (Okains Bay & Duvauchelle).
- Salary: The salary band for this position goes from $88,003 to $97781 per annum based on a 40 hour week.
