In Pacific Health, we want a system that delivers equitable health outcomes for our communities. We are seeking leaders who value people and will work to realise the vision of placing fanau, aiga, ngutuare tangata, kainga, famili, magafaoa, vuvale and kaaiga (families) at the heart of health design.
We have an opportunity for a Head of Pacific Intelligence and Insights to provide overall leadership to the Pacific Health intelligence function. This function provides technical and specialist advice on Pacific health to guide interventions such as population health forecasting and the strategic development of the Pacific health pipeline.
This role will be a key support for the the Pacific Health team and the National Director, Pacific Health. The Head of Head of Pacific Intelligence and Insights will provide data, insights and community intelligence that will influence and feed into national strategy and commissioning design. A key piece of mahi will be working to identify and enact process change and collaborative work to address Pacific health improvements at a national, regional, and local level.
Mōu | About you
You are an experienced Health Intelligence leader, or senior level analyst, with experience in complex environments with diverse stakeholders. You are passionate about intelligence and community informed insights, and have strong knowledge of Pacific communities, health trends and healthcare systems.
Your career has seen you working with with large and complex data sets, where you've had to clean and manipulate data to extract meaningful insights
- and communicate these insights to stakeholders. You have experience in successfully developing and delivering a Pacific-led work programme, operating effectively at a senior executive level.

**You will have**:

- Proven commitment and experience in working for Pacific communities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and visualisation tools (e.g. Tableau, PowerBI, SQL) and data analytics platforms, as well as a solid understanding of statistics and programming languages.
- A relevant tertiary qualification, or professional training, that supports the above.
- Proven experience in successfully developing and maintaining a structured approach to managing a wide range of stakeholder and professional relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and findings to a non-technical audience.
- A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving.
