**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
To lead and oversee the management, utilisation and analysis of data systems, and intelligence within the emergency management function, ensuring the effective utilisation of information for decision making, planning and response efforts.
**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- Demonstrated experience in intelligence analysis and integration within a large organisation or AoG environment.
- Demonstrated experience in leading an Intelligence Function within an emergency response.
- Expert knowledge and experience in Intelligence Practice and information management, in addition to experience in the Health and Disability Sector, Emergency Management, or Civil Defence Emergency Management Sector.
- Leadership level experience and responsibility for managing people, budgets, forecasting, and cost management.
- Experience in maximising the quality and contributions of individuals and teams to achieve the organisation's vision, purpose, and goals.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with people at all levels within the public and private sectors, related industry and community interest groups and the wider national and international communities.
