Red Badge Group has undergone significant growth and we are now looking for a new Operations Coordinator to join our retail guarding division, Red Security
Our Red Security division is a manned guarding/ security team who focuses on providing customer service focused security and protection, for our clients.

No two days are the same within this role The position provides a meaningful opportunity to coordinate and lead over 40 staff on a daily basis, across Waikato and Bay of Plenty’s top sites - including The Base, Centre Place, University of Waikato and Bayfair Shopping Centre.

**Role responsibilities**:

- Be the first point of contact with our front-line staff - including communications around unforeseen absences & general work-related queries.
- Scheduling staff rosters, both for future requirements & at short notice, to meet client requirements.
- Use of specialist workforce & rostering software.
- Motivate, engage and develop our Red Security frontline teams, ensuring standard processes are being followed by all staff members.
- Ensure accurate service delivery by the team to our clients and monitor contract KPIs.
- Ensure you are a visible front-line support network to our team and regularly visit client sites delivering service excellence.
- Extract data from the system and provide reporting to operations managers based on staff performance - including timeliness, attendance and working hours.
- Bring a level of forward-thinking and initiative towards identifying and solving issues before they become greater problems.
- Ensure you are a positive leader within the Red Badge Team to maintain our status as New Zealand’s premier customer service focused security and events business.

**What we require from you;**
- Previous track record in coordinating staff, logistics, production planning or supply chain.
- Able to work on a rotating shift roster, and MUST BE able to work on weekends.
- Highly adaptable and have the ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Structure and data-driven and able to identify patterns and behaviours.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage time effectively.
- Proven critical thinking skills being able to develop solutions quickly & have innovative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to visualise issues and provide direction to staff in the field.
- Good communication skills and an ability to enforce expectations with staff and lead them in the right direction.
- Full clean New Zealand driving license.
- A desire to grow with Red Badge Group and to grow our people with you.

Security experience is not necessary but would be of benefit. This role will be fully supported locally, and we seek an individual who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and commitment that will inspire both the client and employees.
