An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People & Talent Business Partner to drive organisational performance and engagement. You will provide expert people advice to the business whilst building learning and capability across the leadership team and wider organisation.

This hybrid opportunity will support the development, culture and performance of the company as they go through change and look to move in a new and innovative direction.

As the People & Talent Business Partner, you will play a critical role in implementing People & Talent initiatives across employee relations, performance management, end to end recruitment, training and development and career/talent management.

You will have expert coaching and influencing skills will enable you to build strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders whilst working across all business departments, partnering with leaders and managing employee relations matters as well as recruitment of all mid to senior level roles.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Partner with senior stakeholders on complex and strategic HR topics to provide guidance and business support
- Responsible for talent sourcing and end to end recruitment of all mid level to senior roles
- Manage the back end of the recruitment platform ensuring all workflows are kept up-to-date
- Support the People and Talent Advisor to ensure the right skills and roles are in place to meet business needs
- Create, implement, and maintain action plans for HR policy and procedure changes ensuring compliance with all local legislation in line with Mill Corp Group standard
- Work with managers to highlight employee needs and create individual development plans to ensure the success of their career
- Responsible for the successful execution of change management programmes
- Strategic advising and coaching skills - an ability to prompt and challenge business leaders, utilising your HR knowledge to influence decisions
- Advise and assist Managers with performance management and disciplinary issues up to and including complex issues, generating documentation as required
- Responsible for all amendments to Company policy or creation of new ones as required

**We are ideally looking for someone who has**:

- You will have a solid foundation in HR and Talent with a strong emphasis on employee relations
- Minimum of 5 years' working experience in a People & Talent role is preferred
- Demonstrated expert coaching and influencing skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability in developing communication plans and tactics
- Well-developed critical thinking, analytical and investigative skills
- A high level of proactivity and initiative, adaptability, and resilience
- A sound understanding and experience in implementing recruitment, induction, learning and development, change management and performance management processes
- Well-developed organisational skills including the ability to priorities tasks and manage your time effectively
- You will have the confidence and capability to operate at all levels across the organisation
- This is a busy role and may require some travel around our various Auckland offices
