Due to continued success and growth at MAXIMO, we are looking for an intermediate Estimator to join our growing and supportive team based in Onehunga.

**What will you do**:

- Produce complete, accurate and timely pricing estimates for residential and commercial projects
- Ensure excellent workflow by maintaining effective communications with drafting, scheduling, and factory staff
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with builders, quantity surveyors and clients
- Provide weekly updates on projects
- Ensure forecasting and tender sheets are kept up to date
- Assist the sales team with the growth of the commercial sales business to achieve company profitability and turnover goals
- Comply and uphold all company values, processes, procedures, and systems.

**What do you need?**
- Good understanding of engineering fundamentals
- Strong ability to liaise with builders, quantity surveyors and clients
- Tertiary qualification in Construction, Engineering or Architecture an advantage
- Proven experience in CAD systems
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Willing team player - you will go ‘above and beyond’
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong planning, time management and organisational skills
- Desire to learn the job in an honest, inquisitive way.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
