Hvac Estimator

**About the opportunity**:
**If you have the relevant experience and are willing and able to move to New Zealand the client is able to help you with relocation, immigration and visa support.**

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Review HVAC plans and specifications documents and prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Communicate with project managers and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimating.
- Analyze subcontractor and supplier quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Review and understand project requirements, the scope of work, and specifications.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve any potential issues during the pre-construction phase.
- Prepare proposals and presentations for clients.
- Maintain a database of costs for HVAC equipment and materials.

**This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities**:

- 5+ years of experience in HVAC estimating would be ideal
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, design, and construction.
- Proficiency in MS Office and estimating software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform calculations accurately.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering would be ideal.

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
