We are an Auckland based construction company seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Administrator to join our team and contribute to our success.

You will be expected to work at least 30 hours per week from Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm as normal hours of work. This is a permanent full-time role and the hourly pay rate will be $32.00- $35.00 according to experience.

Position Overview: As a Contract Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing our contracts and agreements, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and optimizing vendor relationships. You will work closely with various teams across the organization to facilitate the negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts.

**Responsibilities**:

- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including vendor agreements, service contracts, and procurement documents.
- Handle inquiries concerning contracts, programms and services to resolve issues.
- Ensure contracts comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate contract records and documentation, including tracking key dates and milestones.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify contract needs and objectives.
- Manage contract modifications, extensions, and terminations as needed.
- Monitor contractor operations and report variations.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, escalating issues as necessary.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters.

Requirement from you:

- A diploma or above in related field, such as business, law etc.
- 3 years of experience in contract administration, contract management, or a similar role if no qualifications.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in contract management software or tools is a plus.
- A clean New Zealand driver licence.
